OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO, RE-ESTABLISHING FEES FOR
SERVICES TO PRINT 2' X 3' PAPER AND MYLAR, NONSTANDARD COPIES
Resolution No. G'f~ 2008
1. Pitkin County proposes to set fees for the Clerk and Recorder Departrnent that are
consistent and fair to the public and reflect the technology, labor and material expenses
incurred in providing such services to the public.
2. Added and effective July 1, 2007, per C.R.S. 24-72-205 (5)(a), Copy, printout, or
photograph of a public record. A custodian may charge a fee not to exceed twenty-five
cents per standard page for a copy of a public record or a fee not to exceed the actual cost
of providing a copy, printout, or photograph of a public record in a format other than a
standard page.
3. The Pitkin County Clerk and Recorder proposes to set fees to print 2' x 3' paper and
mylar copies, which are nonstandard printouts.
4. In the fall of 2007, the Pitkin County Finance Department conducted a cost analysis of all
copy fees in the Clerk and Recorder Department. Per the outcome of the cost analysis, it
is recommended that Pitkin County Clerk and Recorder Department charge the following
fees for nonstandard copies:
a. 2'x 3' paper copies shall be charged at $5.50 per sheet
b. 2' x 3' mylar copies shall be charged at $25.00 per sheet
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners that it does
hereby approve the fees set forth for service in the Pitkin County Clerk and Recorder office to
the public for 2' x 3' nonstandard copy fees.
