The sum of ~~E47.Ot was offerei for the taz sale certificate and fazes to date on the follow-
ing described property and upon motion the said offer was aocepted:x~d the Treasurer anthorizei
and iirected to transfer and aeeign said oertifioate for said sum.
The offer of Fred Light to pay the sum Of y~I00.00 in ttiill for takes on lots A.B.C. and K.L.M.
Block 7I, City of dspen and improvements; upon motion was accepted and the Treasurer was authl
ripted and direoted to accept ,..the said amount.
Because ofthe erroneous assessment in the years I924 and I925 upon a worn-out automobile holol
belonging to Fred Light; the tazes thereon amounting to 62.80 are ordered to be remitted and
cancelled by the Gounty Treasurer. ~~
Resolution.
Whereas, it apyeara that certain Coun y w$'"" a`xann"~s, issued prior to the year I923, are outatand~
ing and unpaid as evidenced by the warrant register in the offioe of the County Clerk and
Recorder, and
aChareas, the obligation of the County to pay and, honor such warrants has expired by legal
limitation, therefore, ,
Be it Resolved, that the County Clerk and Recorder be and hereby is suthorlaed and direoted
to cancel the following warrants ae above referred to

Be it further rosolved that a Dopy of this resolution be,fnrnished the Co~snty Treasurer
that he be direoted to refuse to honor or pay any of above mentioned warrants.
whereas, it appears that the County Treasurer is now and has been for a number of years,
carrying a debit balanoe on his books in the following funds:
Suspense Fund
Outstanding warrants and Interest Fund,
and whereas, the County Treasurer is ~atr no manner:~responsibls for such debit balances and
V~hereas,the Board oY Gounty Commissioners have been advised and believe that such de~iit
balances should be charged off and eliminated from the Treasurer's b.ooks,therefore
Beit Resolved, that the County Treasurer be and hereby is authorized and directed. to ohax~
off such debit balances to the Co tin ent Fund, and that any ~iture collection to the oredit
either of said funds be credits o e on invent Fund to whioh suoh debit balances have bee
oharged.
In order to close the outstanding 9arrants Fund, it is oxd.ered that the sum of X400.59 b
drawn from the Contingent Fund and erediteii tc said Special Outstanding l~arrants Ftu2d and
That the Suspense Aocotifll be credited with ~I2O.OO from the Contingent Fund in order to
liquidate said Suspense F`und~acoount.
