Thee Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado met at 1Q:00 A. TvI. Monday
April 3, 1933 with the fo~llovring members present: G. B. Brovm, Chairman; Louis Vagneur,
Commissioner; John R. Williams, Commissioned; ICI. bi. Pdeihardt, Clerk.
Minutes of the regular meeting held TuIarch 6 ~ 7., 1933 were read and approved.
`rte The following resolution was unanimously adopted:
WT~RLA5, this Boa~•d has received notice that Roaring Fork VJater,:Light and Power Company has
applied to the Public Utilities Commission of Colorado for a certificate of convenience and
necessity, authorizing the erection, maintenance and operation of an electrical porver trans-
m~ssi°on line From the generating plant of the compaay up the Roaring For$•River to the west-
.' ern portal of the proposed Twin bakes diversion tunne•1 in Lincoln Gulch, and•from the nee
over the Di"vide• to the eastern portal of such tuxulel, for the purpose of supplying electric-
al energy a's power for use in the construction o'f such diversion tunnel; and
' ~ 'JJ~~R~{ S, the- consummation of such project and the construeti~on• of the proposed transmission
line appear to be in the interests of Pitkin County and its inhabitants and there appears ,
to be no objection whatever to the prope8~y~ ereotion.,~maintenanee and operation of each
transmission line:
NOVV, THERE+'FORE, BE• IT> RESOLVIJ by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County that
there is no objection upon the part of Pitkin County to the issuance of a proper certificate
of convenience and necessity, as applied for, and no objection ~bo the proper construction
maintenance and operation of the proposed transmission line; and .
` BE IT FIITRTI~R RESOLVED that the Clerk of th~sBoard be, .and kre is hereby authorized to eerti-
•fy and transmit a copy of this resolution for filing: with the Public-Utilities Commission
in connection with the said application of Roaring Fork Water, Light and Power Company;-
