District, County of Pitkin; State of Colorado
WHEREAS Ns more beautiful or suitable place could be found anywhere for recreation purposes,
WHER~S; Such improvements would be of very great value to Pitkin County, the citizens thereof.
and the public in general;
THEREFBRE, BE IT RESOLVED' By the Bcazd of County Commisiieners; that we request the United
States Department of ~he Interior, National Park Service to mak® phis said tract into a
suitable park as provided by the Departmentta rules and regulations.
