~.On motion the following agreement was made an€i signed in upliea e between he parties

This Article of Agreement; made°and entered into this fifth day of July A. D. 1934 by and
between yrnest Strong and A. Z. Culp, parties of the first part, and The Board of County
Commissioners of Pitkin County, acting for said County, party of the second part,
witnesseth: i
Said parties of the first part agree to construct 2 abutments,:.2_~~.lls being 14~feet wide on
top, and a bridge of approximately 60 feet in length and of a width of 14 feet on the Ihinter
Creek County Road where the same crosses Hunter Creek about 2 miles north of the City of Aspen
Said bridge to have 6 Lodge Pole Pine Stringers 12 inches in diameter at the little end,_
flooring of the same thickness as°used in the present bridge, and a substantial railing along
each side. Said bridge is to be finished complete with necessary fills at ends, completely
ready for travel, satisfactory to the said party of the second°part.
Said parties of the first part agree to furnish all materials, except such flooring as is in
perfect condition in present bridge which said party of the second part hereby gives permissio:
for first parties to use in eo~struction of the new bridge.
Said party of the second part ag~°ees to pay said parties of the first part the sum of Two
Hundx~cY Idinety-five llollars (N295.00; from the County Hoad b'unds as soon as the bridge is
finished to the satisfaction of the said part~T of the second part.
