The request of J. TvT. Leahy for cancellation of tax for 1933 on Household Goods contained ir.
hots R ~ S Block d4 Aspen on account of erroneous assessment ( Tdo household goods there be-
longing to TuTr. heahy) was granted. Tax cancelled X8.25
^lhe request of Ale::ahder Brown for Blind Pension was examined and on motion, the Commission
was requested to grant the same.
The following resolution was unanimously passed:
BE IT RESOhVliI1~ by the Board of Counter Comrnissione~s of Pitkin County, Colorado, meeting in
regular session this 6th day of September, 1934, that the County of Pitkin will maintain High
x`82 and will annually make provision for such maintenance, especially that portion emui°aced
in proposed Colorado Project Tdo. PrRS 383 between Snotivmass, Colo. and Aspen, Colo., after said
project has been a?proved by the Secretary of Agriculture and the wort: has been performed.
BL IT FURTHi;R itESOhU~;D, that this Board earnestly reconunends the approval of said project as
much needed improvement and as a means of providing employment to many needy and worthy labor
