The Following eommunioation from Frank Bruin, Sheriff, elected as Janitor of the Court ',
House on Feb« 5, 1935 was received: "I hereby amend my applioation for the job as Janitor
to specify that the salary for said Janitor service is to be X75.00 per month. Dated this
4th day of March 1935 Frank Bruin.
The action of the Board Feb. 5 in accepting the offer of Frank Bruin to perform Janitor's
work and Sheriff's duties and to turn over•exoesa from such reoeipta over 125.00 to the
County was, on motion and second, rescinded.
Frank Bruin was, on motion and second, unanimously elected Janitor for the balance of cite
tern for which he tivaa eleoted Sheriff at ~p75.00 per month. A11 help hired by Bdr. Bruin ~n
performing Janitox servioe to be submitted to the Board for approval. Hia pay for Sheriff's
duties to be as provided by Statutes.
Warrant No.31216 dated Feb. 6, 1935 in the amount of ~;~35.00 to Boyd R. King, drawn on
the Ordinary County Revenue Fund was returned by hTr. King fox cancellation on aooount of its
having bean drawn on said Fund in error. Should have been on County Road Fund.
The following bills were audited, approved and warrants ordered drawn from the several

Establishing a ~apeciaT $oad Fund
BE IT RESOLVET)'by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Pitkin, State of Colo-
rado, that there be and hereby is, established in this County a fund to be knower and designate
"STATE SPECIAL ROAD FUND"
and that the County Clerk and County Treasurer be instructed to set up on their reeor&s"subh
flied; and further, that all moneys, reoeived from State apportionments for motor fuel taxes,
motor vehicle license feea,.bus taxes, and oil loyalties be placed to the credit of said fund
;and warrants drawn on said fund shall be drawn pnly for conatr-gotion, improvement, repair or
''maintenance of public highways in,this County;~all vouchers shall show, in detail, the purpose
