The Board of Couaiy Commissioners oP Pitkin County, Colorado, met at 10:00 A. M. Saturday
January 1S, 1940, with the following members' pa•gaent: G. B. Brown, Chairman; Orest A. Gerbaz,
Commissioner; Boyd R. King, Commis aioner; M. M. Neihardt, Clerk,
The minutes of the meeting held January 1 & 2, 1940, virile organized ea a Board for 1939
and of the meeting of ire Board of January 2, 1940, While organized sa s Boaxtii for 1940, were
read an approved (the former minutes being signed by both the old and new Chairmen).
The Chairman and the Clerk reported that ,pursuant to sn order of the Board of Han. 2, 1940,
and after further consultation with the other members of the Board,. Special Maintainer Chains
had been purchased Prom the lowest bidder fbr the same, the Ceatle Creek Service Station, at
50.00 per pair. On motion the action was unanimously approved.
On motion duly made seconded and carried, X30:00 wsa allowed to Frank Bruin For expenses
while attending the State Convention of County Sheriffs.
The following bills were audited, approved and ordered paid Prom the County Poor Fund:
