Gerbaz; Co®isaionera T. J. Sardy and Samuel W. Howell; County Clerk Peggy E.. Coble; and CounryAttorney Robert Delaney. Billswere audited, approved and ordered paid from [he various Welfare Funds as follows: OLD AGE-PENSION: $5271--.62---- ---~ ~ - PUBLIC WELFARE PUND: $1686.31 The Coa®isaionera diacuased-the matter of the County's claim against Martin Mishmash for ho~pitali- zation and tentative approval was granted to an -arrangement whereby lots belonging to Mr. Mishmash would be sold and Che proceeds„ after payment of ezpenaea, allocated one-half to Mra. Mishmash as record owner thereof, and [he other half to the County, up to the amount owing. Report was made that Dedrick Brittemun was keeping horses in an area adjacent [o the Easterly aide of the Courthouse and it was directed that-the County.Attorney. prepare notice. todirect him to abate the nuisance caused by suchhoraee. Upon request of .Mrs. Kenneth R.Sterling, one of theproprietora of "The Heatherbed" Lodge requested information as to the color combination desired by the County on directional signs, and also to the matter of installation of additional fac ilitiea to carry directional signs. She was advised the County would agree-to obtain one additional frame for directional signs, to be located at a point approved by the building inspector. She was advised that .the matter of the color of the signs would be diacuased with the planning. and zoning commission members and a decision made later. The request of. Phil ip ~-0roaby for authority to increase monthly compensation of Mrs. Helen Zordell in the sum of $25.00 per month was diacuased for services performed as Deputy County Treasurer, and authorization was granted commencing with July salaryfor such increase, conditioned upon satisfactory performance of duties and upon working from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M, .Sheriff LorainR. Herwick reported that bide had been solicited for improvements in thebasement of [he Courthouse, including removal of present flagstone sad placementof concrete floor, change of stairway leading from boiler .room to rear outside, including all materials and labor, and that the low bid was submitted byGlen, Spaulding is the sum of $1275,00.
