The Chairman and Clerk were authorized and ~ected to execute the documents necessary to make claim for each reimbursement. A letter from Mr. Robert C. Kimball of the Public Health Service,. bearing date ofJanuary i2, 1961, wa: mined, wherein Mr, Kimball advised that the Hospital equipment coats .have increased $11,243.83, and that Hill 'ton participation could be expec tad. Mrs. Maddalone reported that donative funds were available for providing County's share of increased costa in a sum in excess of $7,000.00. Thereupon the Cosmiss ionera authorized- : additional expenditure for equipment for-use in the Hospital-now in the process of conatrnc tion. - Commisaionera authorized and directed the payment of semi-annual interest of Antic #pation Warrants Sued for the Hoap ital Construction, such payment to be made to Sears Bank and Trust Company, Chicago, Illinois the amount of -$4,065.00. Assessor. Mr. Burger on behalf of the Tax Commission submitted detailed report setting mforth the results of hie six weeks. audit of .the Pitkih County Aasessor'srecorda lacing to asaeasmente. It was reported that a very substantial amountof valuation had been omitted from the 60 assessment ae returned by. Assessor Bandy. The report also disclosed that a portion of the arbitrary siness personal property assesam: nta made by the Aseesaor were much lower that they shold. be and further that number. of professional and business establisbmente were sot assessed for 1960, mt was further pointed out the :e assessor had apparently failed to assess property brought into the State after assessment date as required b 4-3-3, CRS 1953 as Amended. Mr, Buchholz asked Mr. Bandy 3f there was any disagreement or question hbout the port, and whether Mr. Bandy considered i[ correct, Mr. Bandy indicated that he didnot have any questions shot .e report and did no[queatfon it's correc[nesa. He stated he would cooperate with the Commissioners and the x Commission in placing such property as had been omitted on the assessment rolls as rapidly as poeaible.
