The Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin CountyColorado met at 10:00 AM, October 18, 1961, with '.
'~~Ithe following members present: Chairman Samuel W. Howell, Commissioners Orest A. Gerbaz and T. J. Sardy;
IiRobert Delaney County Attorney being absent having been excused; Clerk Peggy E. Coble..
Bills were audited, approved and ordered paid as follows:
- PUBLIC WELFARE FUND: $1,415.92
OLD AGE PENSION FUND: .$4,754.90
HOSPITAL FUND: $3,170.70
The following resolution .was adopted:
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, a question exists as to the meaning of the 1961 budget for the Pitkin Connty Hospital, in !i
(that it is not clear whether the entire appropriation of funds to be raised by the five mill leery for hospital I
purposes would be used solely for hospital operations, or whether a portion thereof could be used for capital i
improvements, and the Commissioners desire by this-resolution to clarify the matter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado, that
of the .moneys appropriated for the Pitkin County Hospital during the year 1961, the sum of $17,000.00 Seventeen
Thousand Dollars is hereby allocated, and shall be considered appropriated in the capital improvement fund in
the Pitkin County Treasurer's Office, and the County Treasurer shall transfer said amount to the Pitkin County '
jHospital Improvement Fund. ~
There being no further bus~,ngas the Board adjourned to meet Novem~be~r 6, 1961 at 10:00 AM.
