AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO, AMENDING THE AUTHORIZATION FOR
PROCEEDINGS IN EMINENT DOMAIN TO JOINTLY ACQUIRE PROPERTY
WITH THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
Ordinance No.&—V-2001
Recitals
1. The Board of County Commissioners enacted Ordinance No. 99-32 to
authorize proceedings in eminent domain to jointly acquire certain properties with the
Colorado Department of Transportation.
2. The legal descriptions attached to Ordinance No. 99-32 include portions,
but not all, of the parcels that are being jointly acquired by CDOT and the County.
3. Ordinance No. 99-32 needs to be amended to reflect full legal descriptions
of both the entire Stapleton property as well as the entire Tiehack Land Partners property.
4. The full legal descriptions for each portion of the Stapleton property and
the Tiehack Land Partners property to be acquired by CDOT and Pitkin County are
attached as "Exhibit A".
5. It is in the best interest of Pitkin County to amend Ordinance No. 99-32.
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby ordained by the Board of County
Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado that Ordinance No. 99-32 is amended by
substituting the legal descriptions attached to this ordinance as "Exhibit A", for those
attached as "Exhibit A"to Ordinance No. 99-32. Except as so amended, Ordinance 99-32
remains in full force and effect.
