A. In compliance with House Bi1106-1343 and House Bi1107-1073 amending Title 6 of the Colorado Revised
Statutes by the addition of Article 175, Illegal Aliens-Public Contract for Services, enacted Dy the General

B. In compliattoe with Home Bill 06.1343 and [-louse Bill 07-1073 enacted by the General Assembly of the State
of Colorado:
1. The Contractor has can5rmed or attempted to confirm the employment eligibility of all eaaployexs
who ere newly bircd for employment in the United States through psnicipatioa in the Basic Pilot Program [created
in Public Law 208, 104th Coagreas, or its suceessar and expanded in Public Iaw 156', 10g° Congress, or its
sueceaaor, Chas is ati'minislered by the United States !]epettmeat of Homeland Security] and, if the Contractor is not
uapted 'into the Basle Pilot Program prior to catering into this contract, the Cetrtractor shall apply to patticipRe io
the Baauc Pilot Program Quay three months until the Contractor is accepted or this contract has been completed,

3. Ifthe Coatractar obnins actual knowledge that a eubrorrtractor performing work under this contract
knowingly employe or contracts with an illegal alien, the Contractor shall be required tb:
s Nertity the subcontractor and ~e County within three days that the Coetnrctar has
actual knowledge that the subcontractor is employing ar contracting with an ilkgsl nlien;
and
b. Terminate the subcontract with the subcontractor if within three days of receiving
the notice required pursuant to subparagraph (s) of tfiis paragraph (3) the subcotttractor
does not stop employing err eontractiog with t)re illegal diem; except that the Contractor
shall not termiaete the eomract with tile: subcontractor if during Bach three days the
subcontractar provHes inforvution to establish that the subcontractor has not knowingly
employed or contracted with an illegal alien,
4. The Comracterr shall ewanply with any reasonable request by fhe Department of lihor and Employment
