AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO AGREEMENT FOR PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
THIS AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO AGREEMENT FOR PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES ("Amendment No. 3") is made and entered into by and between the Pitkin County
Board of County Commissioners ("County") and Hydrologic Systems Analysis, LLC (hereinafter
"Contractor") as of December 31, 2008. The County and Contractor desire to extend the term of
the "Agreement for Provision of Professional Services" entered into between the parties on
September 6, 2007, as amended (the "ContracY') to allow additional time for performance of
certain contractual requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, the County and Contractor mutuatly agree as follows:
1. Defined Terms. Unless otherwise specified, all capitalized terms shall have the
meanings speciFied in the Contract.
2. Extension of Term. Paragraph 2 of the Contract is amended by deleting "December 31,
2008" and inserting "April 29, 2009" in its place. Paragraph 2 of the Contract is further amended
by deleting "90 days" and inserting "120 days° in its place.
3. Presentation. Subparagraph 4 of the "Deliverables & Payment Terms" section of the
Contract's Statement of Work is deleted in its entirety and the following is inserted in its place:
4. Overview presentation to the Board of Pitkin County Commissioners in Aspen,
Colorado, or, in the alternative, overview presentation to the Water Committee of the
Watershed Collaborative at a regularly scheduled meeting in EI Jebel, Colorado, as
requested by County staff.
DATE(S): TBD by mutual agreement of the parties.
MILESTONE PAYMENT: The remainder of the additional firm fixed price ($1,500) will be
paid upon acceptance of this deliverable by Pitkin County.
4. No Further Chanqes. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain
unchanged.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the pa�ties have executed this Amendment No. 3 effective as of the
date first set out herein above.
