RECITALS
I. Thomas E.Lewis("Applicant")has applied to the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin
County, Colorado("BOCC")for a minor amendment to a development permit to relocate the existing
driveway alignment.
2. The subject parcel is located at 1121 Red Mountain Road,and is referred to as Lot 1-A,Block 3
Revised,Red Mountain Subdivision.
3. The BOCC heard this application at a regularly scheduled meeting on April 25, 2001, at which
time evidence and testimony were presented with respect to this application
4. The BOCC made the following findings:
A. The existing driveway,which contains a 7%grade,meets Pitkin County driveway standards as
outlined in the Assets Management Plan which allows for a maximum grade of+� 12%; and
B. The proposed driveway alignment will encroach onto slopes of 30%and greater,which is
prohibited pursuant to section 3-80-050(C)(2)of the Land Use Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Pitkin County Board of County Commissioners
that it does hereby deny a Minor Amendment to a Development Permit to Thomas E.Lewis.
DENIED ON THE 25TH DAY OF APRIL,2001.
