We have reviewed the preliminary Engineering Geology and Subsoil Invest-
igation'by Chen and Associates, Inc. for the replatting of two parcels
in the Ridge of Red Mountain Subdivision. We believe that the Chen
report gives good recommendations and outlines the potential geologic
hazards which would affect the development of these parcels.
Of particular concern to us is the potential slope stability problems.
These problems will most likely be encountered on the northeast parcel3.
which has some very sfee slopes (60%-100/, The main access road to the

the potential for creating slope instability by excessive site radius,'.

geotechncal advice, we see ro geologic reasor. why this subdivision should
not be approved.
