Zn accordance with the Pitkin County Sand and Grave;'L Regulations, we are hereby making application for a asphalt-,hot mix plant permit on the property outlined by the'red lines on he erielosed drawing. The property being described as Lot,8 of ,Section 21, Township 9 South, Range 8s West of the Sixth Principal Meridian (approximately 3.75 acres). A general description of the property is south of the Upper ~+loody Creek Bridge, east of'the Roaring Fork River, and west of the County Road. As required in the regulations the site is a sand and gravel pit. It has natural barriers of canyon walls and trees to screen the operations from general public view.
