COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO,
ESTABLISHING FEES FOR
THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

RECITALS
1. Pitkin County wishes to set fees which are consistent and fair to the public and
which reflect the expenses incurred in providing such services to the public.
2. Certain fees currently charged no longer reflect the costs of providing the
necessary levels of such services.
3. Payments due to the County for obligations due to sales and use tax are not
regarded as fees and are therefore not included in the Ordinance. This Ordinance does not
reflect an encompassing fee schedule.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Pitkin County, Colorado that the following fee schedules be adopted:
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FEES
Land Use Application Fees: The categories of review processes and base fees for the
processing of land use applications shall be as follows:

APPROVED AND ADOPTED AFTER CONTINUED SECOND READING AND
PUBLIC HEARING ON the 14th day of January, 1998.
