July 16, 1969 Board of Adjustment County of Pitkin Aspen, Colorado 81611 Gentlemen: The need for a portable concrete batching plant on Mr. Fredric Benedicts' property in the Snowmass-at-Aspen area, as proposed by Porto-Mix Concrete Inc.,is vital to our building program at Snowmass-at-Aspen. We support Porto-Mix Concrete Inc. intentions and would appreciate any and all consideration given.Thank you. Sincerely, John Huebinger, Jr. JH:jm ce: Porto-Mix Concrete Inc. . M.D. A-326 STARLING·LOVING HALL 293-5059 July 7, 1969 Board of Adjustment County of Pitkin Aspen, Colorado 81611 Gentlemen: I wish to protest strongly the proposal of Porto-Mix Concrete Inc., of Glenwood Springs, to locate a cement plant adjacent to my pro- perty at Snowmass at Aspen. Contrary to the statement made by Porto- Mix saying only two lots have been sold, at this writing all but three lots have been sold. All of these properties will be affected and the owners' rights infringed upon. I object to the placement of a commercial enterprise on property originally designated for residential use because of the unsightly appearance, the noise and the addition of cement hauling trucks with an entrance to adjacent roadways. Placement of such a plant will definitely reduce land values. All property owners of Ridgerun I and Ridgerun II should be notified of this proposed placement of a cement plant and given an oppor- tunity to express their views. Sincerely, \0 6. 30»1c€.t LGS/gam Mrs. L.G. Saunders 3063 Glenridge Parkway Columbus, Ohio 43221 OCCOCS PTactice of Otolaryngology . June 10, 1969 Mr. Fredric A. Benedict Fredric A. We co not object to this temporary use or its location as long as the other ·owners are notified and as long as tne property is returned to its original state when the use is over. Very truly yours, SNOWMASS AMERICAN CORPORATION C. A. Vidal Director of Land Development CAV/rbil cc: Robert J. Carmack Porto-Mix Concrete, Inc. . JOHN M. ROSOLACK, ASSOCIATE June 30, 1969 Board of Adjustment County of Pitkin Aspen, Colorado Dear Sirs: This letter is to notify you that I am in full approval of the request made by Porto-Mix Concrete, Inc. to locate a concrete batching plant on my property as designated on my plat. I have located the plant in an area which I have surveyed for an access road to my property and should not interfere with any of my operations. I am considering the conceete plant as an integral part of the building construction which will be taking place on my land next year. Porto-Mix Concrete Inc. will sign a contract to keep this area clean and they understand the plant will be located there only on a temporary basis. I would appreciate your approval.
