RE: Moore Pool Subdivision Exemption
DATE: December 16, 1977
James E. Moore has offered for gift one acre of land immediately west of
the Moore swimming pool to the City of Aspen. Application for exemption
from the definition of subdivision is being requested under the authority
of Section 4.02.02 a. 4 "Community Facilities", by the City of Aspen.
This land will provide for more area in the immediate vicinity of the
pool and while there is not a clear plan for its use right now, it is
assumed that the land will be used for services to support the operation
of the swimming pool and ancillary city recreation programs. The City
has a grant application pending for the acquisition of an additional seven
acres of land which is immediately adjacent to the property being con-
veyed at this time. A copy of the exemption plat has been given to the
County Engineer and he may present results of his review at your meeting.
A certificate of ownership is being prepared by the Aspen City Attorney
and that also will be available for your review at the meeting.
The application is
within a community
its approval.

RE: MOORE POOL SUBDIVISION EXEMPTION
PABST SUBDIVISION EXEMPTION
MOORE POOL SUBDIVISION EXEMPTION
In looking at the plat notes, number four and number five are
not complete. They are important and some caution should be
taken in making sure they are completed.
PABST SUBDIVISION EXEMPTION
I have no problems with the plot as presented. However,
there is very little detail and before final approval is
given, a new plat should be presented showing roads, streams,
buildings, etc.
