Dear Cindy:
In regard to Whip Jones' satellite dish system, the dish will be
located on Mr. Jones' private property about 75 feet from his
house in his back yard. The dish is 10 feet high and takes up
approximately 50 square feet of ground space. This dish cannot
be seen by any of his neighbors and also cannot be seen from any
public thoroughfare.
I, Bob Andresen, wish to waive my hearing on this subject before
the Planning and Zoning. I request a permit on this as soon as
possible.

Bob Andre son, representing Audio Satellite Systems has submitted a
satellite dish application on behalf of Whip Jones. Mr. Jones parcel
is located in the Highlands Subdivision on large wooded lot. The
satellite dish will not be visable from either neighboring parcels or
public roadways. However, it is a substantial sized dish (10 feet
tall with a 50 square foot base area). In accordance with Section 6-
6.1(f), as director, you have the ability to approve or deny this
application. There are no apparent impacts associated with this
proposal. Therefore, I recommend approval. if you agree with this
recommendation, please sign this memo which will serve as a record of
approval. The attached map shows the location I ahve checked in the
field and verified as an appropriate placement for the dish.
