Dear Mr. McKinney:
I am enclosing a copy of recently adopted rules and
regulations governing exemptions 6rom subdivision reg-
ulation.
These rules make the procedure more complicated, but
have the advantage of laying out the specific infor-
mation that must be supplied for the County Commissioners
to evaluate your request. Please provide the required
materials in order to complete your submission.

I, Jesse J. Ma%inney, wish to petition the 3oning Board of
Ad~natmant and the County Cosmiaslona oP Pitkin County Subdivision
Regulations, for s split of approximately thirty (30) aorea Pram
a total oP approaimately !;0 aorea, of property in Pitkia County,
Colorado.
The laud, now owned by Mr. Yo%inaey is divided by the Crystal
River as a natural boundary. The thirty (30) aorea deaoribed above
has afour-bedroom house and out buildings, hen ad~ndioated water
for domestio and irrigation purposes, and is on the East Side of
the Crystal River.
The remaining 10 aorea, more or leas on the YPeat Side of the
Crystal River, are being retained by Mr. l[o%inaey as his permanent
reaidenoe. This 10 aorea now has a small hones whioh has been used
as rental-property; thin also has ad~udioated'water rights.
I wish to emphasize that this request is not being made for the
purpose oP evading State and Conatq atatistioa pertaining to eub-
dieiaion of land, but bsoauae the land already has a natural boundary
and two (2) single family reaidenoea on the property, on either aide
oP the river.
Due to these foots, we do not believe that thla ie an unreeaoneble
request, therefore wish that you will give it your utmost oonaidera-
tion.
