amend the Pitkin CounTy Iand Use Code (PCLUC) in eH'ort [o establish standards (ur commercial
snow storagc/dumping. Amendments will need to be made to Chapter 4.

2. The Planning and Zuning Commission reviewed the proposcd amendmcnts at a rcgularly
scheduled meeting on June 16, 2009. The Commission vo[ed 4-0 to recommend approval lo thc
BOCC in favor of the proposed code amendmenls.
3. The 60CC revieweJ Lhe application at 1" Reading at a duly noticed public hcaring on Sep[ember
23, 2009 and at a duly notiocd public meeting on October 14, 2009. Evidenec and testimony
wero presented with respect to [his application.

regarding land use and developmwt in the County.

When a special review use is reouested for a snow storaqe area the aoDlicant shall complv with the
followina conditions when sitinq the storaqe area~
