The new house will be less than 2000 sq ft and have 2 bedrooms and a loft. For sizing purposes, I have calculated this house as a 3 bedroom. His system was installed in 1991. He currently has a 1250 gallon tank and the minimum requirement for this house would be 984 gallons of capacity. The field also appears to be adequate to serve the new house. I visited the site on 4/25/02 and we lifted the access to the tank. There was a T installed. I recommended pumping the tank and installing a filter with an extension handle as there are 3 risers. Also, the effluent line from the new house will probably cross the city water line. The sewer line will have to be double encased. Carla Block Senior Env.
