This year the event will be held at the Tybar Ranch. APPLICANT: Aspen Valley Land Trust (hereafter, "Applicant "). LOCATION: The Tybar Ranch at 100 Angus Lane in Carbondale, CO. BACKGROUND: This event is an annual fund raiser for the Aspen Valley Land Trust. The event will be held September 11, 2010 from 5:30 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. Approximately 300 people are anticipated to attend. There will be a crew of approximately 20 people beginning September 6, 2010 through September 12, 2010 for the set -up /tear -down process. AVLT will have 3 staff members on site and approximately 15 volunteers REFERRAL COMMENTS: The application was referred to the Pitkin County Sherriff's Office (Tom Grady), the Carbondale Fire Department (Vern Holmes), Risk Management (Kris Jewkes), Emergency Management (Ellen Anderson), Environmental Health (Carla), the County Engineer, the County Clerk & Record (Jeanette Jones) and the Crystal River Caucus. Vern Holmes approved the application for the Carbondale Fire Department. Tom Grady stated the Sheriffs Office is ok with the application. Environmental Health reviewed and approved the application. A Special Event Liquor License was approved on July 28, 2010. The Applicant has provided adequate proof of insurance. No comments were received from the Crystal River Caucus or Emergency Management within the time period requested. STAFF COMMENTS: Pursuant to Subsection 4- 30 -50(i) of the Land Use Code, Applicant must demonstrate that adequate provisions have been made for all of the following: 1. Police supervision (if necessary); 2. Public parking; 3. Insurance; 4. Site set -up, maintenance and clean -up; 5. Emergency services; and 6. Safety of operations.
