The Pitkin Countv Librarv Studv. Architectural Services (the "AgreemenY') dated June 23. 2010
between the Boazd of County Commissioners of Pitkin County (the "Count}�') and Willis Pember
Architects, Inc. (the "Contractor"), is hereby amended as follows:
Descrintion of Chanee:
Change 1. 44' Option PHASE ONE CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
Refer to ATTACHMENT A for details and pricing breakout.
The Architect will provide additional services in an effort to more fully understand, and better present
the implications of the Pitkin County Library Expansion proposal, and in prepazation of an anticipated
BOCC work-session in December, this additional service will seek to implement, to the greatest extent
possible, the optimal program areas and general locations of the 60' preferred option previously selected
by the Library Board, within the footprint of a 44' easement geometry onto Galena Plaza. Proposal
Price is $4,850. Project timeline for completion is 7-10 days.
Change 2.
PUBLIC PROCESS and LAND USE PLANNING
The Architect has been directed to provide additional services to work with the City of Aspen added
scope to develop graphic needed presentations based on the preferred options, to meet with Mr. Bendon,
Community Development to collaborate on the requirement and to prepare a joint packet for
presentation to the Board of County Commissioners and again with City Council to gain approvals and
funding to proceed with Phase 2 of the Project. Hourly rates shall remain unchanged from the original

contract rates for this added work. This change shall not exceed $15,000, plus reimbursable. Project
mne�ine is 60 days from the execution of this Contract Amendment.

$ 52,400.00
Net Increase/Decrease in Contract Price (this change order) $ 19,850.00
Total Adjusted Contract Price (including this change order) $ 72,250.00
This change order extends the time to complete this portion of the work by �0 90 days, Contract deadline
shall be January 31, 2011.
In all other respects the Agreement is in full force and effect and remains unchanged by this
Amendment.
