The Data Center Proiect # 014.2010 (the `AgreemenY') dated 5/19/2010 between the Boazd of County Commissioners
of Pitkin County (the "County") and Northwav Construction. Inc. (the "Conuactor"), is hereby amended as follows:
Descriotion of ChanQe:
This change order extends the contract deadline for the project completion to no later than 12/17/2010 for punch list items,
contract scope, site clean-up and final inspections. The contractor shall be given an additiona120 days for final deliverables
(manuals etc). There aze no added costs to the contract for this work as described below anNor for time extension.
1. Work includes the completion of the landscape work per specifications and contract price as described in contract
amendment A. Scope includes snow removal, set-up and use of a ground thaw machine, installation of irrigation system
�� II and all connections to the . jei�} tinierr, new` �e�e� sprinkler heads, line repairs and ve�ve� In addition, the contractors
shall be planting trees, shrubs, spreading top soil and placing the gravel bed per specifications provided by Clauson &
Associates. Testing and start-up of the new irrigation system will occur in the spring by the Contractor. The County will
provide one pazking spot for the thaw machine, and attempt to keep county vehicles and equipment 3' away from the
edge of asphalt during the landscaping project. Delays may occur for weather dependent conditions only; i.e.; if the
roads are not safe for work crews, or unable to tow the equipment to the site. A 1-year warrantee remains in place for all
materials and workmanship as provided by Good Earth. �t1S �� ified irrigation system from existing
zones to accommodate new plantings. �
2. Contract scope of work removed the connection of the buil �dng e UPS system when installed. The allowance of $2000
for the UPS connection will be replaced with the addition of a fabricated metal awing over the data center doorway for safety
from falling ice. The awing design shall match the existing awning that is carrently located above the door to the facilities
shop. Roofing sheet metal shall match the e�cisting roof color for the data centec There aze no additional costs or credit to
the Contractor or the County for this work.
3. The extension of this conuact date allows the contractor to complete the contract tasks. The contractor agees to have all
vehicles and equipment out of the pazking lot and surrounding azea no later than 8am on December 16, 2010 to allow for
delivery of UPS equipment provided by others. In the event of added resowces for the removal of vehicles, materials
aod equipment is required is shall be at no added cost to the County.
Original Contract Price with Amendment A $ 201,475.00
