CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY FROM ASPEN SCHOOL DISTRICT TO
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO
Ordinance No. 99-8
Recitals
1. Aspen School District No. 1 (the "District") is the owner of real property
N located in Pitkin County and situated in Woody Creek, Colorado as more fully described
1 Lot 12, West Ranch Subdivision, according to the Final Plat thereof recorded December
Q� 31, 1998, in Plat Book 48 at Page 30.
`k 2. As a condition of approval in connection with Pitkin County Resolution
No. 98-119, Condition 14, as included in the detailed subdivision/final plat approval for
the West Ranch Subdivision Affordable Housing Project, Resolution No. 98-178, the
County agreed to accept Lot 12 of the West Ranch Subdivision in lieu of the park
dedication fees required by the Land Use Code.
• " 3. The District has submitted a title commitment and an environmental
19 assessment which are satisfactory to the County.
4. The environmental assessment did indicate that there were several areas of
dumped domestic trash on Lot 12. The domestic trash on Lot 12 must be cleaned up
before the County accepts the Deed.
5. The Deed for Lot 12 is attached as Exhibit A.

2 NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County, Colorado that the Board of County Commissioners agrees to accept the
conveyance of real property from the District to the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County, Colorado as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto, and authorizes the
Nk Chair to execute the Deed and all other documents necessary to finalize the transaction,
provided, however, that the domestic trash on Lot 12 is cleaned up to the satisfaction of
the County Manager prior to execution of the Deed.

the plural the singular, and the use of gender shall be applicable to all
