AGENDA ITEM TITLE: Resolution Appointing Citizen Board Members

ISSUE STATEMENT: Citizen Board Appointments are approved by resolution of the
Board of County Commissioners
BACKGROUND: The Board has interviewed the attached list of applicants for various
Citizen Boards and instructed staff at their June 21, 2011 meeting to prepare a resolution for
appointment.
LINK TO STRATEGIC PLAN: Community Involvement - creating and maintaining
opportunities to engage, include, and incorporate caucus, neighborhood, municipalities,
interest groups and individual participation, interests and feedback
KEY DISCUSSION ITEMS: None
BUDGETARY IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDED BOCC ACTION: Approve the Resolution appointing the
applicants to Citizen Boards.

RECITALS
1. Volunteer Citizen Boards are established per the Home Rule Charter and State Statute.
2. The Board of County Commissioners has interviewed applicants and wishes to make the
following appointments.
3. These appointments are effective as of this date June 22, 2011.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County, Colorado, that the following appointments are made:
