AGENDA ITEM TITLE: Resolution Appointing Citizen Board Members

ISSUE STATEMENT: Citizen Board Appointments are approved by resolution of the
Board of County Commissioners
BACKGROUND: The Board interviewed several Citizen Board applicants in the past few
weeks. The Board instructed staff at their October 18, 2011 meeting to prepare a resolution
for appointments to the Financial Advisory and Healthy Rivers and Streams Citizen Boards.
Terms for the Financial Advisory Board are generally two years, but the two appointments
made today will be one year terms. This will correctly stagger expiring terms for the
Financial Advisory Board.

RECITALS
1. Volunteer Citizen Boards are established per the Home Rule Charter and State
Statute.
2. The Board of County Commissioners wishes to make the following appointments
to the following boards.
3. These appointments are effective as of this date October 26, 2011
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Pitkin County, Colorado, that the following appointments are made:
