Mr. Willett S. Moore requested that the
Board consider keeping the Snowmass Creek road
open to the #5 lift. The Commissioners in-
dicated that they would look at the road and
make a decision at a later date.
The Board considered the changing of the
speed limit at Ashcroft. Upon motion duly made
and seconded, the Board unanimously approved
to have the Sheriff's department patrol the
Ashcroft area. ..:
A petition for abatement of taxes by
Everett Bondhus dba Aspen Anvil submitted by
Martin Dumont in the amount of $48.87 was
approved by the Board per the recommendation of
the Assessor.
Upon motion duly made and seconded the
Board approved the following resolution:

BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of

County Commissioners of Pitkin County,
Colorado, that the 1948 personal deed
taxes in the amount of $9.73, covering
1 taxes on the Southwest w, of the South-
west of Section 3, Township 9 South,
Range 88 West of the 6th Principal
Meridian, Pitkin County, Colorado,
assessed in the name of Francis, James,
be in the same hereby are cancelled,
pursuant to the authority granted to
the Board of County Commissioners of
Pitkin County, Colorado, by 173 -10 -14
C.R.S. 1963, as amended, the same being
more than six years old, and determined
as being uncollectable by said Board,
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board
of County Commissioners of Pitkin County,
Colorado, that the 1953 personal deed

taxes for the same property, assessed

1963, as amended, the same being more
