to draw Pitkin County Special County Welfare
warrants. County Attorney Oates stated to the
meeting that 119- 3 -4(2) C.R.S. 1963 as amended
to May 6, 1971, required that the Board of
County Commissioners appoint a person to sign
Special County Welfare warrants. He indicated
that this function had been taken away from the
County Clerk and Recorder. In addition to
the signature of the person duly appointed, he stat-
ed that it would be necessary that each of such
warrants be signed by a member of the Board of
County Commissioners designated by the Board for
that purpose, and that both of such signatures
shall indicate the approval of the Board of
County Commissioners and the County Board of
Public Welfare.
On motion made, seconded and unanimously
adopted, the following resolution was passed:
RESOLUTION 01.!5 1 7 t
BE IT RESOLVED that Wayne A.
Kleeman be and hereby is appointed
as the person to sign Pitkin County
Special County Welfare warrants, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the
Chairman of the Board of Pitkin County
Commissioners shall also sign all vv.
Pitkin Coutny Special Welfare Warrants.
