Meat 6th P.M. Colorado. Upon motion the said offer was accepted and the Treasurer uthorized and direoted to transfer and assign said oertifiaate for said sum. The offer in the sum of X225.00 was made for the tax sale oertifioate and the taxes up to nd inoluding 1926 on lots D and F., Blook 30; on Lots F and G, Blook 30, City of Aspen. Upon otion the said offer was aooepted and the Treasurer authorized and direoted to transfer and . sign said certificate foe said sum. . Because of erroneous assessment of Jesse Slaton Homestead Entry, for the year I928 at a _ aluation of ~IO.IS for the land, and X200.00 for improvements, taxes thereon amounting to .35.92; said land being of no value agriculturally, and there being no water thereon, said I3omeatead oS no possible profit more than grazing; the ~saesaor is advised and inatruoted to reduce the valuation to 607 dollars and so certify to the County Treasurer rho shall eolieoi thereon the sum of ~I7.96 and reoeigt for 2928 taxes in full. In the matter of the petitions of W.E, Stapleton to the Tax Commission of Colorado for re- fund of ~250.I0 of overpaid taxes in the year I926 and for aoatement of taxes to the amount of "234.46 inthe year I927; both claims allowed by the Tax Commission on that part of the. propert; nown as the Glendale Ranch, which was gurehased by Stapletont. Wheresa there has been mistake made in allowance of Mills for oYfidisls of Preoinat No. 2, $$t the 1928 November election amounti~sg to the sumof X5.00 to each of 5 persona who served as 9'udges and Olerks, Now, Therefore be it resolved to request from each of said persons the re- imbursement of said sum of X5.00 so bg mistake overpaid, and thereby rectify the error,and the Dopy of this resolution be mailed to each of said officials, viz.- Louise V~ard, Anna Borgeson, John A. Beck, Harold Dwyer, and J.T.Kearna.
