The Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado, met at 10:00 o'clock A.M.
Monday January 4, 1943, with the following members present: George W. Smith, Chairman;
Crest A. Gerbaz, Commissioner; M. M. Neihardt, Clerk
The minutes of the meeting held December 17, 1942 were read and approved as read.
The following disposition of offers for tax sale certificates and taxes up to and in-
cluding 1940, as published in December, was made:
$600.00 on Brown Hoag Block in Block 90 was passed over (not accepted) account Brown
Hoag Block not being in Block 90, Aspen.
$$10.00 on Lot P, Block 18, put off until f=Ytkx }(at request of bidder) Feb. 1
10.00 on Lot 0, Block 18, the same
10.00 on Lot N, Block 18, the same
15.00 on Lot M, Block 18, the same
20.00 on Garfield Lode (Cert 575 and Cert 329 1/6/10) Lincoln M.D. 15593.
A hi er bid of $25.00 was made. 025.00 was accepted. (Shaw)
$6.00 on Cert 152 of 1907 for Lot D, Block 107 Aspen was accepted. (A.Gregorich)
The following offers for tax sale certificates and taxes up to and including 1941
were received and ordered published:
$101:17 on Lots P, Q & R, in Block 65, Aspen
41'600.00 on Brown Hoag Block in Block 96, Aspen
The resolution was off ered and passed that all Resolutions of the Board now'on
record, restricting the right of persons to bid upon tax sale certificates and taxes, be
and the same are hereby rescinded.
The reports of the Clerk of the District Court and of the County Judge were presented.
The report of the County Clerk for ° December was approved.
The Clerk was instructed to send Mountain Utilities Corporation a bill for use of County
equipment and men as follows: 33 Hours Maintainer and 36 Hr. Tractor at $3.00 Hr. #207.00
The County Treasurer reported Outstanding Registered Warrants as Follows:
Poor $69.40 - =- -State Special Road $4,294.87; Total $4,364.27
Bills were audited, approved and ordered paid as follows:
