July 6, 1943.
The Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado, met at 10:00 A. M.,
Tuesday July 6, 1943 (the preceding Monday being a legal holiday), with the following member
present: Orest A. Gerbaz, Chairman; George W. Smith, Commissioner; Clarence 0. Quam, Commiss
loner; M. M. Neihardt, Clerk.
The minutes of the meeting held June 18, 1943, were read and approved.
The following offers for tax sale certificates and taxes up to and including 1941,
were considered and action taken as follows:

On motion duly carried, the County Treasurer was authorized and instructed
to take title in the name of the County for Lots K,L,M,N,0, Block 41 East Aspen as per
Cert 13, 12/11/37.
The reports of the County Judge and Clerk of the District Court were presented.
Trc report of the County Clerk for June 1943 was approved.
The Victory Tax for employes of the Welfare Department in the amount of $17.40 was
approved and ordered paid. From Administrative Fund.
The Clerk was instructed to send a bill to the 7 S Forest Service for service of
Rodent Control Foreman as follws: 3 Days @ 4!5.50 0_6.50
