RESOLUTION DENYING AN APPEAL BY MIKE HAMAN OF A NOTICE OF VIOLATION
FOR OPERATION OF A HOME OCCUPATION NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAND
USE CODE
Resolution No. 13 4/ -2001
RECITALS
1. Mike Haman ("Appellant")has appealed to the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin
County, Colorado ("BOCC")regarding staff s determination that the operation of his electrical
contracting business from his home constitutes a violation of the Land Use Code provisions for Home
Occupations.
2. The property is located at Lot 46, Aspen Village Subdivision.
3. The property is zoned MHP.
4. The BOCC heard this appeal at a regular meeting on August 8, 2001, at which time evidence and
testimony were presented with respect to the application.
5. The BOCC finds that the business operation as stated and defined is in violation of the Pitkin
County Land Use Code.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the BOCC that it hereby denies the
Haman appeal of an Administrative Decision which issued a Notice of Violation for illegal operation of a
Home Occupation and requires the Appellant to cease all operations not in conformance with the Land
Use Code prior to August 11, 2001.
