M., Tues- day, July 141, 1948 (Monday being a legal holiday), with the following members present: Orest A. Gerbaz, Chairman; George W. Smith, Commissioner; Clarence 0. Quam, Commissioner; C. H. Darrow, County Attorney; M. M. Neihardt, Clerk. Minutes of the meetings held June 7, 1948 and June 18, 1948 read and approved. The offer of $47.43 for Tax Sale Certificate No. 130 of 1927 for 1926 on Lots M, N, 0, and West 8 ° feet Lot P in Block 95 was accepted. (Eagles). An irregular strip pf land between Block 40, East Aspen and the west bank of the Roaring Fork River, being apprtximately 1/7 acre was sold to Frank B. Miller for $10.00, that being the value placed thereon by the County Assessor. ■ The reports of the Clerk District Court, County Judge and County Clerk were received and examined. The report of the Service Officer, M. G. Conner, was received, approved and signed. An application to sell Malt Liquors at Aspen Rodeo Grounds by Aspen Skiing Club wax received and July 19, 1948 at 10:00 A. M. was set for hearing. Utilities Corp W & L 83.05 A.S.Aloe, Co Do 139.70 Betty Gibbs, Salary 55.00 RESOLUTION At a regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Pitkin, in tht in the State of Colorado, held at the County Court House in the City of Aspen, Colorado, on the 6th day of July, A. D. 1948, there being present Chairman Orest A. Gerbaz, Commissioners Clarence 0. Quam and George W. Smith, County Clerk M. M. Neihardt and County Attorney C. H. Darrow, yhe following resolution was unanimously passed and adopted,to wit, WHEREAS, it has been made to appear to this Board of County Commissioners that the moneys and funds raised for the Outstanding Warrant Fund of Pitkin County, Colorado, for several years last past, have been erroneously credited to either a Registered Outstanding Warrant Rad Account or Registered Warrant Account in the books of the Treasurer's Office of said County; and, whereas, in budgeting such moneys and funds no registered outstanding warrant account or registered warrant account was contemplated, but only an outstanding warrant fund; AND, WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Board to correct said error by giving proper designation to the said moneys and funds; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Treasurer of Pitkin County, Colorado, correct the books of his office by deleting therefrom the designations of "Registered Outstanding Warrant Account "Registered Registered Warrant Account", as current Funds or Accounts on such books, and to substitute in place thereof and designate the same as "Outstanding Warrant Fun, ". AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that this raeys olution be entered in the recorded proceedings of this Board of County Commissioners andn hereof, duly certified by the Clerk of this Board be delivered by him to each the Treasurer and the Assessor of Pitkin County, Colorado.
