The Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado, met at 10:00 A. M. Saturday
September 18, 1948, with the following members present: Crest A. Gerbaz, Chairman; George W.
Smith, Commissioner; Clarence 0. Quam, Commissioner;Wm C. Stapleton, Clerk.
The minutes of the Meeting held September 7, 1948 were read and approved.
The proposed budget for 1949 was submitted to the Commissioners for examination and ordere
filed in the Office of the County Clerk. The date of October 4, 1948 was set for final adopt-
ion.
Bills were audited, approved and ordered paid as follows;
POOR FUND
Mrs. Albert Allen, Service 117.46; Pitkin County Hospital, Hospitalization $230.95
OLD AGE ASSISTANCE FUND $7682.97
STATE SPECIAL RELIEF 198.70
AID TO BLIND 35.00
AID TO DEPENDENT CHILDREN 108.70
ADMINISTRATION 515.86
Bills covering the above gross amounts in the various Welfare Funds, having been approved
by the Pitkin County Board of Public Welfare, were order paid as per lists and vouchers
rendered.
No further business appearing, the Board adjourned to meet October 4, 1948 at 10:00 A.M.
