The Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado met at 10:00 A.M. April 3, 19
with the following members present: T. J. Sardy,Chairman; C. 0. Quam, and Crest A. Gerbaz
Commissioners; C. H. Darrow,County Attorney; Wm C. Stapleton Acting Clerk.
The minutes of the Meeting held March 18, 1950 and special meeting Held March 20, 1950
• were read and approved
' The reports of the Clerk of'the District Court, Clerk of the County Court and County Clerk
& Recorder was and approved.
The report of the Service officer was examined, approved and signed. •
The report of the Library Board was approved.
Upon motion duly seconded and carried Dr. Robert C. Jr. was appointed as County
Physician for the balance of the year 1950 at a salary of Lewis, 100.00 per quarter or every thre
months.

GENTLEMEN: The petition of Mrs. C. J. Feist Bertha C. Feist
Address 412 W. Francis Aspen, Colorado respectfully shows that the taxes assessed
against your petitioner for the years A.D. 1949, are erroneous for the following reasons,

Lot R, Block 34 Aspen
Petitioner claims that the old house which formerly stood on Lot R,Block 34 Aspen was
removed prior to the 1949 assessment period and it was not called to the attention of the
assessor at that time
That she has paid said taxes. Wherefore your petitioner prays that the taxes, as aforesaid
erroneously, assessed, may be refunded in the sum of $4.03 Bertha C. Feist Petitioner.
