Gerba Acting Chairman; Clarence 0. Quam, I' pommissioner; C. H. Darrow, County Attorney; M. M. Neihardt, Clerk.,T. J. Sardy, Commiss. Excu ed. The minutes of the meeting held May 16, 1950. were read and approved. The reports of the County Clerk, Clerk of the District Court and County Court were approved The report of the Service Officer was examined, approved and signed. As the Semi - Annual Aspen on , Meeting of Colorado County Welfare Directors is to be held in As , g Y P (June 16, and 17, 1950 it was requested by Welfare Director Homer Van Loon that the Board meet June 14, 1950 at 10:00 A.M. for the regular welfare meeting. Caris Bradshaw) The following resolution was passed and adopted: At a regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Pitkin, in the 1 State of Colorado, held at the County Court House in the City of Aspen, Colorado, on the 5th day of June, A.D. 1950, there being present Commissioners Crest A. Gerbaz and C. 0. Quam, County Clerk M. M. Neihardt r,nd County Attorney C. H. Darrow, the following resolution was I unanimously passed and adopted, to -wit: RESOLUTION AND ORDER WHEREAS, on July 18, A.D. 1949, this Board of County Commissioners unanimously passed and adopted a certain Resolution and Order directing the Treasurer of Pitkin County, Colorado, I to commence and complete statutory proceedings on behalf of the said County of Pitkin for the acquisition of title by tax deed to all parcels of real estate within the said County of Pitkin, covering which said County holds tax sale certificates which are subject to tax deed l AND, WHEREAS, since the passage of said Resolution this Board of County Commissioners is of 1 the opinion that the said Resolution is not in the best interests of Pitkin County, Colorado)] insofar as the same relates to acquisition by said County to title of real estate lying within the corporate limits of the City of Aspen, Colorado; AND, WHEREAS, this Board of County Commissioners has learned that said Resolution of July 18' A.D. 1949 has not been fully carried out and that there are several parcels of real estate within the corporate limits of the City of Aspen, Colorado, which are subject to tax deed by said County but covering which no such tax deed has yet been taken by said County; AND, WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Board of County Commissioners that the said Resoluti n and Order of July 18, A.D. 1949, insofar as it relates to real estate situate within the Cit of Aspen, Colorado, should be annulled and rescinded; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Pitkin, ]] in the State of Colorado, that the Resolution and Order passed and adopted by said Board on July 18, A.D. 1949, concerning the acquisition by Pitkin County, Colorado, of tax title to real estate within said County, insofar as it relates to and covers real estate within the City of Aspen, Colorado, should be and it hereby is annulled and rescinded. AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that this Resolution and Order be entered in the recorded proceedings of this Board of County Commissioners and that a copy hereof, duly certified by the Clerk ofd this Board, be by him delivered to the Treasurer of Pitkin County, Colorado.
