The Board of County Commissioners of PitkinCounty, Colorado met at 10:00 A.M. August 18,
1950 with the following members present: T. J. Sardy, Chairman; Commissioners Clarence 0.

Discussion of the Financial difficulties of the maintenance of the Pitkin County Hospital
were had and upon motion made seconded and carried it was reccommended that Fred D. Glidden 1
Secretary of the Pitkin County Hospital association be requested and authorized to contact
with individuals or organizations with the view of leasing the Pitkin County Hospital on a
long term lease to be operated by such person or organization as hospital open to the use of
all properly accredited physicians and surgeons.
No further business appearing the Board adjourned to meet September 5, 1950 at 10:00 A.M.
