The Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado met at 10:00 A.M. Dec. 18,
1950 with the following members present: T. J. Barfly, Chairman; Commissioners C. 0. Quam and
Crest A. Gerbaz; William C. Stapleton acting Clerk.
The minutes of the meeting held December 4, 1950 were read and approved.
Upon motion duly seconded and carried it was agreed to cancel Warrant No. 903 issued on
the Hospital Fund on July 3, 1950 to Mountain States T & T. Co. in the amount of $32.26,xxx*d
Munk The County Treasurer was instructed to stop payment on said warrant.
Upon motion duly seconded and carried it was agreed to increase salaries of County Road 1
Aden effective January 1, 1951 as follows: Laborers & Truck Drivers $8.50 per day, Overseers

!hitbeck and Crowley $9.00 per day, John Snyder,Overseer monthly salary of $250.00 per month
Upon motion duly seconded and carried it was agreed to plow the Road from Pitkin County
ine to Marble on Highway # 133 for Gunnison County at the rate of $5.50 per hour. Pitkin Oou4ty to
urnish men and equipment and in case of breakage on said road between Pitkin County line and
arble,Gunnison County is to re- imburse Pitkin County on 50 -50 basis.
The Application of the Aspen Skiing Corporation for re -newal of 3.2% beer license at Sun
Jeck was approved and signed.
,After some discussion it was decided to discontinue plowing snow on the portion of the old
anyon Road through the Airport Ranch from the Highway to Brush Creek Road for winter of 1950
1951.
mills were audited, approved and ordered paid from the various welfare funds as follows:
