The Board of County Commissioners of the County of Pitkin, State of Colorado met at 10 :00
A. M. with the following members present: C. 0. Guam, Chairman; Commissioner T. J. Sardy.
Commissioner Orest A. Gerbaz absent he being excused.
The minutes of the meeting held December 31, 195L1. were read and approved.
Bills were audited, approved and ordered paid from the various Welfare Funds as follows:
I OLD AGE PENSION FUND $7,375.81
PUBLIC WELFARE FUND 1,195.68
Bills covering the above gross amounts having been previously approved by the Welfare Board
were ordered paiid as per lista and vouchers rendered.
H Bond number 431581 issued by the Western Surety Co. as Surety and covering Patricia Madd-
alone as deputy County Treasurer was released as of July 31, 1953.
An Order was received from Clifford H. Darrow, District Judge regarding the appointment 1
of John M. Shultz as Court Reporter and fixing his salary commencing Jan. 1, 1955 at $5,100.06
per annum. Pitkin County share was fixed at 15% or $425.00, per annum.
An Order was received from Clifford H. Darrow, District Judge regarding the appointment of
1 Louise M. Berg as Clerk of the District Court for Pitkin County, Colorado and fixing her
:salary at $1,500.00 per annum.
An Order was received from Clifford H. Darrow, District Judge regarding the appointment ofi
! Probation Officer for Pitkin County. Milton G.Conner was appointed and his salary was fixed
fiat $25.00 for each probationer supervised under his appointment.
