HomeMy WebLinkAboutbocc.min.reg.02071955 February 7, 1955 The Board of County Commissioners of the County of Pitkin, State of Colorado met at 10:00 A.M. February 7, 1955with the following members present: C. 0. Quam, Chairman; Commissioners T. J. Sardy and Crest A. Gerbaz; Robert Delaney, County Attorney, Wm C. Stapleton, Clerk. The Reports of the Clerk of the County Court, Clerk of the District Court, County Clerk & Recorder, Sheriff and Service Officer were examined, approved and signed. The minutes of the meetings held January 3, January 11 and January 18, 1955 were read and approved. Bills were audited, approved and ordered paid from the various County funds as follows: ORDINARY FTTND $ 4,772.22 ROAD & BRIDGE FUND 5,744.94 HOSPITAL FUND 3,56 MOTOR VEHICLE FUND 4,539.53 Bills covering the above gross amounts were ordered paid as per lists and vouchers on file. The application of Laurence M. Elisha dba as Larkspur Chalet for new liquor license having been advertised according to law and set for hearing on this date was approved. There Were !no! protests against the issuance of this license. The Report of the Pitkin County Public Hospital Board for the year 1954 was received and ordered placed on file. The extention of the following Bonds was approved; Bond # 453735 of John Hall as Business Manager for Pitkin County Public Hospital. Bond # 451543 of Elinore Jane Birkholz Superintendent of Pitkin County Public Hospital. The following notice of sealed bids was ordered published: NOTICE OF SEALED BIDS Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received at the Office of the County Clerk and Recorder, Court House, Aspen, Colorado, on or before the 7th day of March, 1955, at the hour of 10:00 A.M., and to be opened at the last mentioned date, and heard at public meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, to be held at said time in the Commissioners Room for gasoline and diesel fuel to be used in Pitkin County Vehicles for the 'remainder of the year 1955. Bids should be submitted separately for gasoline and for diesel to be delivered at Aspen and Carbondale, Colorado.
