' The minutes of the meetings of November 18 and December 5, 1955 were reak and approved. Bills were audited, approved and ordered paid from the various welfare funds as followsil , OLD AGE PENSION FUND:" 7,/7D 1 PUBLIC WELFARE FUND: t', .rad•76 Bills coverint the above gross amounts having been previously approved by the Welfare Board were ordered paid ps per lists and vouchers rendered. l The following notice of Sale of Lands at Public Auction was ordered posted and publishe : I NOTICE OF SALE OF LANDS AT PUBLIC AUCTION P ublic notice is hereby given that the undersigned will offer for sale at public auc- 'Ition on Monday,the 6th day of February, 1956, at the hour of 10 o'clock in the forenoon at the front door of the County Court House, aspen, Colorado, all of the right, title and I interest of Pitkin County in and to the following described mining claim in the Highland ii Mining District of Pitkin County, Colorado: Cave U.S.M.S. 6755 Jack Adam, U.S.M.S. No. 5933 The Washington, U.S.M.S. No.59611. The Little Prince, U.S.M.S. No. 6889 j The above claim being located in the SW-1 of Section 30, Tp. 10S., R. 84 W. of the 6th j II P.M. and in the Ni of Section 31, Tp. 10 S., R. 84 W. of the 6th P.M. Berg was re- appointed as a member of the Library Board effective January 11, 1956 to December 3Jst, 1960, and so notified, I The following resolution was adopted: RESOLUTION WHEREAS the Road and Bridge Fund and The General Fund of Pitkin County have become 1 a a (depleted due to expenditures made necessary in order to prepare for a pplic tion to p tent ''certain lands adjacent to Aspen, most of which are included upon the Tax Rolls, an emergency ll which could not have been reasonably foreseen at the time of the adoption of the 1955 Budget NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colo, l,ra do that there is hereby appropriated from the County Contingent Fund to The County Road and bridge Fund the sum of p700.00 and from the Contingent Fund to the County General Fund thjp sum of 33,000.00 to defray necessary expenses for the remainder of the claendar year, 1955. Quam, Chairman; Com- missioners; T. J. Sardy and Crest A. Gerbaz, Peggy E. Coble, Clerk. Salaries for December 1955 were audited, approved and ordered paid from various funds as follows: ORDINARY FUND $3( ROAD FUND 2,568.25 HOSPITAL'FUND 2,416.95 The amount of $8,107.98 having been received by the County Commissioners from the Forest Service for apportionment to the County Roads and Schools the same was apportioned as follows Dist.
