The minutes of the meetings of November 18 and December 5, 1955 were reak and approved.
Bills were audited, approved and ordered paid from the various welfare funds as followsil ,

Bills coverint the above gross amounts having been previously approved by the Welfare
Board were ordered paid ps per lists and vouchers rendered.

'Ition on Monday,the 6th day of February, 1956, at the hour of 10 o'clock in the forenoon at
the front door of the County Court House, aspen, Colorado, all of the right, title and
I interest of Pitkin County in and to the following described mining claim in the Highland
ii Mining District of Pitkin County, Colorado:

Jack Adam, U.S.M.S. No. 5933
The Washington, U.S.M.S. No.59611.
The Little Prince, U.S.M.S. No. 6889 j
The above claim being located in the SW-1 of Section 30, Tp. 10S., R. 84 W. of the 6th j

Such property will be sold in parcels or en masse to the highest bidder for cash,
without abstract of title, and without covenants of warranty, and subject to rights of persons
in possession, if any. The Cotrunissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
A deed without covenants of warranty will issue to the high bidder, or bidders, unless
such bid or bids be rejected. Payment of the purchase price plus costs of advertising and
recording shall be made at the conclusion of the sale, or within one hour thereafter, and
upon failure to make such payment, the Commissioners may either vacate the sale, or award
i the property to the next highest bidder or bidders.

The following resolution was adopted:
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS the Road and Bridge Fund and The General Fund of Pitkin County have become 1

(depleted due to expenditures made necessary in order to prepare for a pplic tion to p tent
''certain lands adjacent to Aspen, most of which are included upon the Tax Rolls, an emergency ll
which could not have been reasonably foreseen at the time of the adoption of the 1955 Budget
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colo,
l,ra do that there is hereby appropriated from the County Contingent Fund to The County Road
and bridge Fund the sum of p700.00 and from the Contingent Fund to the County General Fund thjp
sum of 33,000.00 to defray necessary expenses for the remainder of the claendar year, 1955.

The Board of County Commissioners of the County of Pitkin, State of Colorado met at
10 :00 AM, December 30, 1955, with the following members present: C. 0. Quam, Chairman; Com-
missioners; T. J. Sardy and Crest A. Gerbaz, Peggy E. Coble, Clerk.
Salaries for December 1955 were audited, approved and ordered paid from various funds
as follows:

HOSPITAL'FUND 2,416.95
The amount of $8,107.98 having been received by the County Commissioners from the Forest
Service for apportionment to the County Roads and Schools the same was apportioned as follows
