RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF AN AIRPORT MASTER
PLANNING GRANT APPLICATION TO THE UNITED STATES RELATING
TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE
ASPEN-PITKIN COUNTY AIRPORT (SARDY FIELD)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of
Pitkin, Colorado:
Section 1. That the County of Pitkin, Colorado, shall, as Sponsor, submit an
Airport Master Planning Grant Application to the United States Department of
Transportation through the Federal Aviation Administration, under the provisions
of Section 13 of the"Airport and Airway Development Act of 1970", (P.L. 91-258)
for the purpose of obtaining Federal Aid for the formulation of an"Airport Master
Planning Study" for the development of the Aspen-Pitkin County Airport (Sardy
Field), Aspen, Colorado.
Section 2. That the County of Pitkin, Colorado, does hereby ratify and adopt
all statements, representations, warrantees, covenants, and agreements con-
tained in the"Airport Master Planning Grant Application", dated mo..t-/ 'c9 51- 7c
and in the required documentation which constitutes the complete application.
Section 3. That the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners is hereby
authorized and directed to execute said Application on behalf of the County of "�
Pitkin, Colorado, and that the County Clerk and Recorder, as Secretary of
this Eoard, is authorized to attest said execution.
Section 4. That the Airport Master Planning Grant Application dated— 1 7a
