BOARD OF PITKIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO
703 .45
The next matter to come before the Board of Pitkin
County Commissioners was the matter of the public hearing on
the Public Works Fund created pursuant to 36-3-2 C.R.S. 1963,
as amended. County Attorney Oates pointed out to the Board
that by virtue of their resolution adopted at the regular
meeting held on October 2, 1972, a Public Works Fund had been
created and that pursuant to law publication had duly been
made in the Aspen Today on October 4, 1972, giving notice of
a public hearing on the Public Works Fund to be held on
November 6, 1972, at 2:00 P.M. in the Commissioner's Meeting
Room.
Chairman Vagneur opened the public hearing, at which
time County Attorney Oates explained the purpose and procedure
of the Public Works Fund. Theodore Mularz was in attendance
in the audience at the public hearing and asked several ques-
tions of the Commissioners and the County Attorney with respect
to use of the Fund. He raised no objection to the creation of
the Fund and was informed by the County Attorney that the
purpose for which the Fund was established could be altered by
subsequent action of the Board of County Commissioners.
Whereupon, the public hearing was closed and, by motion made,
seconded and unanimously voted upon, the following Resolution
was made:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Resolution of this Board,
with respect to the creation of a "Public Works Fund" pursuant r.r
to 36-3-2 C.R.S. 1963, as amended, made by this Board on
October 2, 1972, be and the same hereby is ratified.
