PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION •
P. B. FEMANN, INC. SAND AND GRAVEL PERMIT RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Pitkin County, Colorado has adopted a A
sand and gravel regulation which is now in effect, and

WHEREAS, P. B. Hemann, Inc. has applied for a sand
permit for the Stillwater Pit under provisions of said regulations,
and
WHEREAS, the Pitkin County Planning and Zoning
Commission has studied said application under the provisions
of said sand and gravel regulation,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Pitkin
County Planning and Zoning Commission hereby recommends that
the Pitkin County Board of Commissioners grant to P. B. Hemann, Inc.
a permit to conduct sand and screening operations at the Stillwater
Pit and that said permit shall be valid for a period of three (3)
years,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Planning and Zoning +rk ,
Commission recommends said permit be subject to the following

conditions which said Commission recommends be specified in a
written agreement with P. B. Hemann, Inc. :
1. All requirements set forth in the Pitkin County

'2. The permit shall be for sand and screening operations
only and that equipment be restricted to that necessary for said
operations at the Stillwater Pit site;

3. P. B. Hemann, Inc. •shall submit a written
rehabilitation plan describing those measures to be taken during
continued operation of the pit and after cessation of all
operations, to include the amount of acreage to be bonded at
$500 per acre.
'~ 4. All junk and trash shall be removed.
