COLORADO, REZONING A PORTION OF THE
COMPASS SCHOOL PARCEL FROM PUBLIC
(PUB) TO RS-20/PUD
Ordinance No. -2005
RECITALS
1. COMPASS for Litelong Learning ("Applicant")
has applied to the Board of County
Commissioners of Pitkin County, Colorado
("BOCC") to rezone 14 acres of the COMPASS
property below the Salvation Ditch from Public
(PUB) to RS-20/PUD.
2. The property is located at 1199 Woody Creek
Road, and is more specifically described as
Compass Parcel 3 School Parcel, as shown on the
Compass Subdivision Exemption Plat recorded in
Plat Book 80 at Pages 88-89.
3. The Pitkin County Planning and Zoning
Commission considered the proposed rezoning at
a regularly scheduled meeting on November 20,
2007, and recommended approval.
4. The BOCC considered the proposed rezoning
at a duly noticed public hearing on first reading on
January 9, 2008, and on second reading on
January 23, 2008.
5. The BOCC finds that the proposed rezaning is
consistent with the applicable provisions of the
Pitkin County Land Use Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by
the BOCC that it hereby rezones 14 acres of the
COMPASS property from Public (PUB) to RS-
20/PUD, as shown in Exhibii A and described in
Exhibit B.
