HomeMy WebLinkAboutbocc.res.010.2001 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PITKIN COUNTY, COLORADO, FINDING THAT THE SCHOOL LAND DEDICATION STANDARDS OF LAND USE CODE SECTION 3-130-080 ARE FAIR AND REPRESENT THE CURRENT LEVEL OF SERVICE PROVIDED BY THE ASPEN SCHOOL DISTRICT Resolution No.O I O -2001 RECITALS 1. Section 3-130-080 of the Land Use Code, School Land Dedication Standards, requires that the standards be reviewed by the County and the Aspen School District every three years in order to insure that these land dedication standards are fair and represent the current level of service provided by the School District. 2. The standards were adopted in 1995 and amended in 1997 in consultation with the Aspen School District in order to provide more flexibility and fairness to Applicants. 3. The Aspen School District was consulted as part of this review and indicated no concerns with the current formulas and dedication schedules. 4. The BOCC has determined that the current land dedication standards are fair and represent the current level of service provided by the Aspen School District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Pitkin County Board of County Commissioners that it has hereby completed its required year 2000 review of the School Land Dedication Standards and finds that they are fair and represent the current level of service provided by the Aspen School District.
