RECITALS
1. Section 3-130-080 of the Land Use Code, School Land Dedication Standards, requires
that the standards be reviewed by the County and the Aspen School District every three
years in order to insure that these land dedication standards are fair and represent the
current level of service provided by the School District.
2. The standards were adopted in 1995 and amended in 1997 in consultation with the
Aspen School District in order to provide more flexibility and fairness to Applicants.
3. The Aspen School District was consulted as part of this review and indicated no
concerns with the current formulas and dedication schedules.
4. The BOCC has determined that the current land dedication standards are fair and
represent the current level of service provided by the Aspen School District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Pitkin County Board of County
Commissioners that it has hereby completed its required year 2000 review of the School
Land Dedication Standards and finds that they are fair and represent the current level of
service provided by the Aspen School District.
